Thanks for a great week spent in your lovely cottage. It has re-affirmed what we already knew, that Wales has some of the best motorcycling roads anywhere! (Shame about the puncture). Your cottage is a perfect base for touring the whole of Wales and the scenery is stunning whichever direction you choose to travel, especially the single track mountain roads which are almost deserted, even on a bank holiday weekend. Thanks again to you and your great kids for making us welcome.
Thank you ever so much for the warm welcome. We had a lovely time staying in your beautiful and cosy cottage. Despite the weather playing up we had time to visit some towns and the famous Devil's Bridge which was beautiful. We hope to see you again next year. Thanx.
A lovely week's holiday in a part of Wales we hadn't visited since 1973. Despite the mixed weather we enjoyed outside visits to the Elan Valley, the Red Kite Feeding Station at Nant yr Arian and a glorious day by the sea at Aberystwyth. Town visits included Llanidloes, Rhayader, Aberdovey and Machynleth. The Oriel Davies Gallery at Newtown was worth the trip there. Ffinnant Cottage is one of the nicest and best equipped self catering accommodations we have been to in the UK. Thank you Tracie & Andrew (and your lovely children) for making our stay so enjoyable.
