About Ffinnant Cottage

Ffinnant Cottage is a cosy timber framed cottage suitable for two adults. We can also provide a travel cot for one infant up to 2 years old if required.

The front door leads into the main entrance hall and then onto the open plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully fitted and has all the usual appliances, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, brand new dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all cutlery & crockery. Laundry facilities are available on request.

We provide a welcome basket for all guests which consists of tea, coffee, sugar and milk as well as some breakfast items to get you started including bread, jam, marmalade, honey and some cereals. We also add some local Bara Brith cake and Welsh cakes for a little snack with your tea when you arrive.

The living room has comfortable seating for 3 adults with an electric 'wood burning stove effect' fire, television & Freeview DVD, CD player and radio. We also provide Free Wireless Internet Access. Adjoining the living room is a separate dining area and French doors leading to a private garden area.

The bedroom has a double bed which can be split into two singles on request, bedside cabinets and plenty of storage. Off the bedroom is the luxury en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is a second toilet off the entrance hall.

The Bathroom was completely refurbished to a very high standard in 2010. It was re-tiled and decorated from top to bottom. A new suite and shower were fitted along with a new heated towel rail and all the fixtures and fitting. We added under tile heating and furnished the room with towels and accessories from John Lewis. Outside Guests are welcome to take a wander around the woods and down to the stream. We are in the process of improving this area but it's still a magical place especially for children, with a wealth of plant and animal life. There is a large parking area directly in front of the cottage.
